Book Cover Ideas

I have two to choose from for now—just trying to decide which one I want to use as the first cover. Someone who was trying to get me to hire them to promote my book mentioned how much they liked my cover, referring to the image in my last blog post. I used that one for my Facebook boost ads.

I decided to search for random forest images and came across a few from the Black Forest in Germany. I’m not sure of its full history, but since I’m currently learning the language on Duolingo, I thought it would be a fun connection. I did consider a few other images from different forests, but in the end, I kept coming back to this one.

Which one do you like more?

Please comment on which one you think would be best. I might use both ideas if the book needs to be split, as my brother suggested.
